For a client in Horst, we are looking for an Operator / Assistant Working Foreman. In this position, you actively participate in the production process while also taking on additional responsibilities within the team. You maintain oversight, support colleagues, and assist with supervising operations when needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a leadership role within production.

What do we offer?

• A gross monthly salary between €2,941 and €3,500 depending on experience;
• 12% shift allowance;

• 9.5 ADV days;
• Working hours in 2 shifts: 06:00 AM – 03:00 PM and 03:00 PM – 12:00 AM;
• 8% holiday allowance;
• 4.5% end-of-year bonus;
• Travel allowance of €0.40 per kilometer (10 – 30 km);

What will you do?

• Operating and adjusting machines;
• Identifying and solving minor malfunctions;
• Supplying raw materials and supporting the production process;
• Monitoring quality, safety, and production output;
• Inspecting finished products, including labeling and quantities;
• Identifying and implementing process improvements;
• Coordinating production processes when necessary;
• Supervising colleagues in the absence of the Working Foreman.

What do you bring?

• MBO level 3/4 working and thinking level;
• Experience within a production environment, experience in food production is a plus;
• Technical insight and problem-solving skills;
• You take initiative and responsibility;
• You can maintain overview and switch quickly between tasks;
• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language.
