Maintenance Engineer
We are looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Team Leader for an international organisation in Horst. In this varied role, you will lead a team of maintenance technicians and play an active part in maintaining, improving and modernising the technical installations at a unique location.

In this varied role, you will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, resolving faults and improving the reliability of technical installations. You will work within a dedicated team where collaboration, safety and professional development are key priorities.

What are you going to do?
As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure that the technical installations and machinery on site continue to operate reliably and safely. You will carry out maintenance work, resolve faults and actively contribute ideas for improvements.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and plant;
- Analysing and resolving technical faults;
- Carrying out mechanical and electrical work;
- Contributing ideas for improvements to machinery and processes;
- Improving the reliability and performance of plant;
- Carrying out work in accordance with established procedures;
- Ensuring safety, quality and hygiene during all work;
- Supporting colleagues with various technical tasks such as mechanical work, electrical work, plumbing and carpentry;
- Contributing to renovation and modernisation projects for technical installations.
Who are you?
- Experience as a Maintenance Technician, Breakdown Engineer, or in a similar technical role;
- Experience with both mechanical and electrical maintenance;
- Technical insight and a solution-oriented approach;
- You can work independently and take the initiative;
- You work safely and take responsibility for your work;
- You are keen to acquire new knowledge and develop your skills further;
- You are a true team player who enjoys helping colleagues;
- Good working knowledge of Dutch, English or German;
- A Category B driving licence and your own transport, as the location is difficult to reach by public transport.
